Biblical Insights with David Gooding
David W. Gooding (1925–2019) was Professor Emeritus of Old Testament Greek at Queen’s University, Belfast. As well as publishing several books of biblical exegesis and apologetics, he taught the Bible internationally and lectured on its relevance to philosophy and world religions. His expositions of Scripture are enhanced by what F. F. Bruce once called his ‘rare combination of gifts: spiritual insight, classical learning and literary appreciation’. Biblical Insights showcases David Gooding’s sermons in 15–25 minute episodes, and aim not only to teach us what Scripture says, but inspire us to read and understand God’s word for ourselves.
